Ebstein’s anomaly is a tricuspid valve anomaly associated with poor right ventricular contractility in severe cases. Surgery is indicated in all symptomatic patients. Tricuspid valve repair is possible in most of the cases with mobilization of the anterior leaflet and longitudinal plication of the atrialized chamber. Tricuspid valve replacement is avoided. Associated cavo-pulmonary bidirectional shunt is performed when the right ventricle is unable to sustain normal cardiac output.
