Abstract

Resume Le deuil normal, qui est de loin le plus frequent, est celui que vit une personne sans troubles particuliers lorsque les circonstances de la mort sont habituelles. Il devient difficile soit du fait de la fragilite de la personne en deuil (son jeune âge, par exemple), soit des circonstances inhabituelles et tragiques du deces. Le deuil difficile se traduit par les manifestations habituelles du deuil mais aggravees et surtout prolongees dans le domaine psychique, celui de la sante physique et celui des comportements. Le deuil complique est celui qui se manifeste par la decompensation d'une pathologie psychologique ou physique qui etait connue anterieurement mais s'aggrave du fait du deuil, alors que le deuil pathologique est celui qui inaugure une maladie qui ne s'etait pas manifestee jusque-la. Les deuils difficiles (ce qui est le cas des enfants, des adolescents) necessitent un soutien psychologique ; les deuils compliques et pathologiques, des soins.
