Small-angle neutron scattering (SANS) and neutron spin echo (NSE) spectroscopy are the two most important neutron scattering methods for the investigation of bulk polymers. They allow analyzing molecular structure as well as motions and make use of H/D-contrast variation. The introduction of both techniques is followed by the application of SANS on chain conformation in melts and on phase behavior in blends. In particular, deviation from the mean-field behavior is demonstrated. Finally, single-chain polymer motion and their constraints by topological restrictions due to virtual tubes (reptation model or in block copolymers) provides more detailed views on the associated motion processes.
citations This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 1
popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average
