Abstract The rare congenital anomaly of duplication of the external genitalia in men is reviewed with special reference to classification, associated congenital anomalies, and theories referring to the origin of the condition. Suggestions are made concerning the surgical management of the various forms, and 4 cases of diphallus are presented.
