Abstract

Abstract An automatic device to drive a double focusing magnetic beta-ray spectrometer has been built and successfully run for several months. A simple digital steering equipment allows spectrometer current values to be reproduced to better than 1.3% 0 of the chosen spectrometer current interval. Plan and function of the automatic device are described.
