Abstract This study is a solution to a problem of information transmission by synapsis which is reduced to the integration of the equation with partial derivatives of the heat type with mixed conditions. The solution z(x, t) found is represented by an integral of Fourier series which tends to a singular integral in the neighbourhood of x = 0+, the limit expression f 1 ( t ) being given by a single element of this integral.
