Geodaten werden heutzutage fast taglich uber das Web abgerufen. Neben einer systematischen Organisation dieser Daten in Geodateninfrastrukturen besteht eine Herausforderung darin, Benutzerschnittstellen bereitzustellen, die von den Datenanbietern und Nutzern der Netzdienste intuitiv bedienbar sind. Dieser Beitrag betrachtet relevante Arbeiten fur die Usability von Geoportalen und stellt eine Methodik zur Konzeption eines benutzerfreundlichen Geoportals am Beispiel des Geoportal Sachsen vor.
