Abstract

Der Beitrag gibt einen Uberblick uber aktuelle Entwicklungen in der Mathematikdidaktik auf dem funften Kontinent. Ausgehend von der Darstellung der Reform des Mathematikunterrichts in der vergangenen Dekade werden Bemuhungen und Konzepte zur fachspezifischen Lehrerfortbildung charakterisiert. Abschliesend erfolgt eine Ubersicht uber aktuelle und aus der Sicht der Autorin spezifisch australische mathematikdidaktische Forschungsrichtungen.
