Abstract

BMW und PSA haben eine komplett neue Baureihe von Vierzylinder-Ottomotoren entwickelt (siehe Seite 526 in dieser MTZ-Ausgabe). Ein wesentliches Ziel war dabei die Minimierung des Kraftstoffverbrauchs bei besten Leistungs- und Drehmomentwerten. Um dies zu erreichen, wurde neben der Umsetzung einer Reihe von Innovationen das ganze Potenzial an Reibleistungsminimierungen ausgeschopft. In den entscheidenden Phasen der Produktentwicklung fuhrte der Studiengang Fahrzeugtechnik der FH Joanneum Graz detaillierte Reibungsuntersuchungen durch. Die Vorgehensweise bei diesen Untersuchungen wurde schon in der Marz-Ausgabe der MTZ 2006 in dem Beitrag „Durch Reibungsoptimierung zur Verbrauchsreduktion“ detailliert erlautert.
