Abstract

De auteurs van Individuele rouwbegeleiding constateren in hun voorwoord dat er de laatste jaren veel aanmeldingen zijn van clienten die last hebben van ‘milde verstoringen van het rouwproces, waarvoor weinig specifieke hulpverleningsprogramma's bestaan’. Zij hebben dergelijke programma's samengesteld en op effectiveieit onderzocht. Over dat onderzoek is in 1989 een intern rapport van het FIOM gerapporteerd. In dit boek gaat het alleen over de praktijk. Het boek lijkt bedoeld om behandelaars met dit programma vertrouwd te maken. Ter wille van de leesbaarheid hebben de auteurs ervoor gekozen weinig literatuurreferenties te geven. Kortom, het moest een boek voor de praktijk worden.
