Abstract

II presente rendiconto elenca le specie della sottofamiglia Aleocharinae (Coleotteri Stafilinidi) raccolte in Madagascar dai Dr. L. Bartolozzi e Dr. S. Taiti nel settembre-ottobre del 1989, durante una missione di studio finanziata dal C.N.R. Dopo alcune note sroriche, sono trattati 8 generi e 13 specie.Ditropandria Pace e elevato a livello generico dal suo precedente «status» di sottogenere diHoplandria Kraatz. Un sottogenere e 10 specie sono descritti come nuovi. Le nuove specie appartengono ai seguenti generi:Linoglossa (1),Diestota (1),Tomoxelia (1),Madecazyras (1),Pseudacrotona (3),Ditropandria (3). I1 genereLinoglossa Kraatz e indicate per la prima volta del Madagascar.
