The Cenomanian Wadi Milk Formation in Sudan yielded a rich continental vertebrate fauna. Apart from big theropod fragments, some disarticulated elements of a pes and a tooth indicate the presence of a dromaeosaurid theropod in the Late Cretaceous of Sudan. This is the first record of this theropod family from Gondwanian continents.
