THE leucocyte function in mongols was assessed using the quantitative NBT test, white cell count, and ESR. In a group of 28 well mongols, eight had raised ESRs. The NBT results in this group differed from those with normal ESRs. It is suggested that future investigations of leucocyte function of mongols must take account of the level of the ESR.
