Lipodystrophy is a rare lipolytic disorder which may be associated with a wide range of metabolic abnormalities. An association with peripheral eosinophilia and tissue infiltration with eosinophils has been noted previously. A further association in a patient who developed pulmonary eosinophilia is described, and suggests that the association between lipodystrophy and eosinophilia may be more than fortuitous.
