The possibility of testing neutral-current models in the strangeness-conserving semi-leptonic decays is discussed. The most reasonable experiment would seem to involve a search for parity-violating effects in Σ0→Λe+e-. However, we find anadditional order-of-magnitude suppression for this process due to the favored value of the mixing angle in the Weinberg-Salam theory. Other weak-interaction models and different processes are also discussed.
