Deuteron electromagnetic form factors

Abstract

Nous definissons les facteurs de forme electromagnetiques du deuteron correspondant aux distributions de charge, de moment quadrupolaire et de moment magnetique. L’approximation non relativiste de ces facteurs de forme est donnee en fonction de la partie isoscalaire des facteurs de forme du nucleon et de fonctions de structure reliees a la fonction d’onde de deuteron. Le probleme general du calcul des facteurs de forme electromagnetiques du deuteron est formule en approximation impulse et les diverses approximations sont discutees. La conclusion est que les experiences de diffusion elastique electron deuterium correspondant a de grandes valeurs du moment de transfer sont extrEmement difficiles a interpreter du point de vue theorique et par consequent de peu d’interEt pour la connaissance des facteurs de forme du nucleon.
