Abstract

Dans The Philosophy of Worldviews, or the Philosophy of Religion Transformed, Ninian Smart reaffirme une des theses majeures de son livre de 1983. Il en appelle a une philosophie de la religion qui abandonne son interet traditionnel pour le theisme occidental et plus particulierement chretien ainsi que pour les problemes de theologie naturelle (le mal, l'immortalite, etc...). Les changements envisages par Smart sont si radicaux qu'il reclame une extension de la philosophie de la religion en faveur de ce qu'il appelle une philosophie des conceptions du monde
