We study lepton-lepton and lepton-jet correlations (2-particle inclusive structure functions) as a possibly effective way to test the standard model and to probe new physics. The longitudinal, Wl, and single (double) helicity-flip amplitudes,Wδ(Wδ δ), are very small in the standard model. Nonvanishing of these structure functions signals new physics. The dependence of the correlation functions on the opening angle θ12 of the two detected particles is studied in detail for various scenarios of new particle production. The effective differentiation of new phenomena from standard-model results achievable by the combined use of kinematic and dynamic features of the underlying mechanisms is emphasized.
