In conclusion it may be stated that bladder neck obstruction in children is a fairly frequent condition. Somehow, the diagnosis is not easily made unless one does a complete urological examination. Suitable treatment is instituted as early as possible for optimum results. Suprapubic transvesical wedge resection or transurethral resection of the bladder neck were found satisfactory in our hands.
