The compatibiity of Macrorealism and Quantum Mechanics is discussed in the light of some recent experimental proposals based on non-invasive measurements realized via SQUID techniques that aim at evidentiating violation of a class of Bell-like inequalities. In particular, it is pointed out that the assumption of «non-invasivity» with respect to a measurement process is independent of any «macrorealistic» assumption about physical reality and that the conjunction of both assumptions ultimately amounts to a request of classical behaviour.
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 5 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
