Standorte, Ernährung und Wachstum der Schwarzkiefer (Pinus nigra Arnold)

Abstract

Die Schwarzkiefer (Pinus nigra Arnold) ist auf xerothermen Kalk- und Silikatstandorten des mediterranen und submediterranen Raumes naturlich verbreitet und wurde kunstlich in nordlicheren Regionen zur Aufforstung von warm-trockenen Odlandereien, Triften und Dunen verwendet. Da Odland und Triften haufig auf Kalkstandorten vorkommen, entsteht der Eindruck, als brauche die Schwarzkiefer Kalk als Bodenfaktor. Wie Ernahrungsversuche zeigten, ist dies nicht der Fall. Die Ernahrungsanspruche sind gering, Nahrstoffmangel wurde auf keinem der untersuchten Standorte in Deutschland, Tschechien, der Slowakei, Ungarn und Georgien festgestellt. Minimumfaktor ist haufig die Wasserversorgung. Davon hangt das Hohenwachstum ab. Die Elementnadelspiegel der Schwarzkiefer sind unter gleichen Bedingungen meist niedriger als bei der Gemeinen Kiefer (Pinus sylvestris L.) mit Ausnahme des Kaliums, das in Schwarzkiefernnadeln hoher liegt. Ernahrung und Wachstum der Schwarzkiefer lassen sich im Gefasvegetationsversuch bei ausreichendem Wasserangebot durch Dungung verbessern. Im Freiland tritt dies auf den extrem trockenen Standorten, wo die Schwarzkiefer stockt, nicht ein, da sich die Wasserversorgung im Minimum befindet.
