The high-energy behaviour of a dual amplitude with Mandelstam analyticity (DAMA) is investigated. A detailed analysis of the dependence of the asymptotic behaviour of DAMA on the position of the boundary of the spectral function and on the asymptotic form of the Regge trajectory is given. It is proved that the amplitude does have Regge asymptotic behaviour for arbitrary momentum transfers if the trajectories increase slower thans.
