Introduccion En Mexico, el cancer cervicouterino (CaCu) ocupa el primer lugar de frecuencia de cancer en mujeres; multiples estudios indican que el mayor numero de casos se detectan en estadios avanzados; cada ano el Sistema Nacional de Salud brinda atencion medica a 9.000 casos de CaCu invasor y se registran 4.000 muertes anualmente.
