Abstract

Palliative endoskopische Interventionen konnen heute mit grosem Erfolg zur Verbesserung der Lebensqualitat der individuellen Patienten eingesetzt werden. Die Laservaporisation von malignen Osophagusstenosen fuhrt in uber 80% der Falle zu einer raschen Passagewiederherstellung. Die Komplikationsrate der Methode ist auserst gering. In Abhangigkeit vom Dysphagiegrad last sich im Einzelfall damit auch die Uberlebenszeit verlangern. Nachteile des Lasers sind haufige Wiederholungen, die durch ein nur relativ kurzes dysphagiefreies Intervall hervorgerufen sind. Die Tubusimplantation ist eine zuverlassige Behandlungsmasnahme, deren Nachteil allerdings in einer relativ hohen Komplikationsrate liegt. Perforation und Dislokation sind gefurchtet. Die Kombination aus Laser und Tubus bringt keinen entscheidenden Vorteil. Die individuelle Situation des Patienten entscheidet im Einzelfall uber die Anwendung der Methoden.
