Cardiac arrest, although likely to occur in the operating room area, may occur elsewhere. Usually a simple and readily understandable technic-a closed-chest procedure-is available in appropriate cases of cardiac arrest. This is not presented as a new method or procedure, but all proctologists and other physicians aredutybound to familiarize themselves with the technic.
