Degenerative Dysostose mit erworbenem Schwachsinn

Abstract

Es wird ein Fall von degenerativer Dysostose bei einem 31/2 jahrigen Kind beschrieben. Neben schweren Skeletveranderungen wurden eine hochgradige Idiotie sowie Hornhauttrubungen beobachtet. Diese Symptome lassen an eine Dysostosis multiplex vom TypHurler denken, doch ergab der histologische Untersuchungsbefund des Gehirns narbige Rinden- und Markveranderungen nach Meningitis im Gegensatz zu 4 fruheren Sektionsfallen, bei denen eine amaurotische Idiotie festgestellt wurde. Eine intrauterine Schadigung des Gehirns durch die Lungen- und Rippenfellentzundung der Mutter wird von Prof.Hallervorden abgelehnt. Bei der histologischen Knochenuntersuchung durch GeheimratM. B. Schmidt wurden chondrodystrophieartige Ossifikationsstorungen nachgewiesen, die einen Wachstumsstillstand bedingten. Im Schrifttum konnten Angaben uber die Histopathologie des Knochens nicht gefunden werden, so das in Zukunft von der Knochensektion bei ahnlichen Fallen besonders wichtige Ergebnisse erwartet werden.
