An 8-channel storage spectrophotometer is described which has been developed to cover the spectral range of 440–730 nm. Eight interference filters, each of a specific selected wavelength in this range, are placed above eight solid state light detectors. Each detector output is separately amplified, digitized, stored, and can be retrieved individually for a visual readout, or automatically recorded on punched paper tape.
