1. An analysis of the uniform motion of fluid in a wide channel, which was carried out by L. K. Nikitin, makes possible the development of a pattern of velocity structure for a stream flowing between two surfaces with different roughness. 2. The velocity structure of an ice-covered stream, determined on the basis of relations founded on considerable experimental data, corresponds for all practical purposes to the structure obtained by Academician N. N. Pavlovskii, utilizing the principle of maximum discharge capacity of a channel.
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 1 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Top 10% | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
