A decrease in the discharge capacity of tunnel and pipe conduits with a concrete surface occurs due to corrosion of the concrete, chemical deposits, biological fouling of the surface, and precipitation of particles suspended in the water. When designing such structures it is expedient to study the possibility of a decrease in the discharge capacity with the course of time and to examine passive and active measures of controlling incrustation.
