Tachinaephagus zealandicus Ashmead was reared from puparia ofProtocalliphora n. sp. [Dip.], representing a new host record for this parasitoid. The habitat ofProtocalliphora is qualitatively different than those of all previously recorded hosts for this parasitoid.T. zealandicus has been imported from Australia and New Zealand and this record strengthens the belief that it has become established in California.
