The results are described of a survey on the incidence of intestinal helminths and protozoa in house-dogs in Teheran, Iran. Eleven species of adult helminths, six species of eggs and two species of protozoa were recovered.Toxocara canis, Taenia multiceps andSpirocerca lupi were the most common helminths in dogs.Toxascaris leonina, Physaloptera preputialis, Trichuris vulpis, Isospora bigemina andI. rivolta are reported for the first time from Iran.
