Abstract

Energiehaushalt und freier Wassergehalt beim Abbau der winterlichen Schneedecke wurden in einer 64tagigen Mesreihe untersucht. Zur Messung des freien Wassergehaltes wurde ein neu entwickeltes Gerat verwendet. Das Prinzip des Gerates beruht auf der Bestimmung der Dielektrizitatskonstanten des feuchten Schnees. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, das eine Anderung des freien Wassergehaltes zwischen Beginn und Ende einer Mesperiode beim Studium des Energiehaushaltes berucksichtigt werden mus. Eine 1 m dicke Schneeschicht verbraucht zur Vermehrung des freien Wassers um 5 Volumprozent 400 cal/cm2. Fur eine 10tagige Mesperiode ist dieser Betrag etwa das Doppelte des fuhlbaren und latenten Warmestromes und etwa 70% der langwelligen Strahlungsbilanz. Der vollstandige Energiehaushalt wurde fur die 44tagige Ablationszeit berechnet, wobei der Unterschied zwischen berechneter und gemessener Ablation 4,8% betragt. Zum Vergleich wurden die Komponenten des Energiehaushaltes auch fur eine 20tagige Periode ohne Schmelzung ermittelt, wobei sich der grose Einflus der hohen Albedo deutlich zeigt.
