Zur Verdunstung der Schneedecke

Abstract

In den Wintern 1946/47 bis 1949/50 sind in der Umgebung des Eidg. Institutes fur Schnee- und Lawinenforschung Weisfluhjoch (2670 m) zahlreiche Messungen uber die Verdunstung von Schnee durchgefuhrt worden. Einzelne erganzende Messungen wurden auch im Talboden von Davos (1550 m) und auf dem Gipfel der Weisfluh (2850 m) vorgenommen. Die Resultate sind auf ihre Ubereinstimmung mit der vonTrabert aufgestellten Verdunstungsformel gepruft worden. Fur einen Bereich der Windgeschwindigkeit von zirka 0,7 bis 3 m/sek erscheint diese befriedigend. Mit Hilfe der Formel und den normalen meteorologischen Terminbeobachtungen ist versucht worden, Tagesverdungstungen zu berechnen. Sofern Anhaltspunkte uber die Schneeoberflachentemperaturen vorliegen, ergeben die berechneten Werte die richtige Grosenordnung des Wasserdampfaustausches.
