Abstract

A 37-year-old male with an ulcerated glomus tumor of the stomach and a 59-year-old male with a bleeding gastric carcinoid tumor are presented. The cases are illustrative of the common mode of clinical and roentgenographic presentation of intramural gastric neoplasms of varied histology. The lesions, by virtue of their plane of growth, stretch and thin overlying gastric mucosa producing ulceration.
