1. Twenty patients withE. vermicularis infection received 200 mg. of dithiazanine three times a day after meals for 5 days.E. vermicularis eggs were not demonstrable on 7 consecutive daily Scotch-tape swabs beginning one day after the completion of therapy in 19 of the 20 patients. Only one egg shell on a single swab was demonstrated in the remaining patient and it was considered a contaminant.
