Abstract

Dans ce travail nous etudions les variations de la nervation alaire des FourmisCrematogaster d'Afrique. Apres avoir rappele le schema general de l'evolution de l'aile des Fourmis tel que l'ont etabliBrown etNutting en 1950, nous donnons la description de l'aspect de l'aile chez les 6 sousgenres deCrematogaster que nous avons pu recolter en Afrique tropicale (Cote-d'Ivoire, Haute-Volta) et equatoriale (Gabon). Nous etudions successivement les sous-genresSphaerocrema, Crematogaster s. str.,Decacrema, Nematocrema, Atopogyne etOxygyne. La nervation des ailes de ces Fourmis releve bien d'un meme schema general, mais on peut noter des differences appreciables, sur certains individus, en observant un nombre suffisant d'echantillons. On se rend compte alors que les malformations affectent preferentiellement certaines parties de l'aile. La repartition de ces irregularites n'est pas quelconque et l'on peut grâce a elles scinder les 6 sous-genres deCrematogaster etudies en 2 groupes. Dans le premier, comprenantSphaerocrema, Crematogaster s. str.,Decacrema, les malformations se manifestent surtout a la partie proximale de l'aile. Dans le deuxieme groupe, comprenantNematocrema, Atopogyne etOxygyne, on les rencontre, au contraire, a la partie distale de l'aile.
