Abstract

1. DieTeilchengrose des Herpesvirus wird durch Zentrifugierversuche zu 180–220 mμ bestimmt. — Die wirksamen Teilchen sind untereinander annahernd gleich gros. Hieraus folgt, das die genannte Zahl sich auf diefreien Viruselemente selbst bezieht. Ferner werden damit die Virusteilchen alsgeformte Gebilde gekennzeichnet. 2. Das spezifische Gewicht der Virusteilchen wird aus der Verzogerung der Sedimentation in 25 gew.-proz. Rohrzuckerlosung zu 1,15 berechnet. 3. Es werden Erfahrungen uber die Haltbarkeit des Virus mitgeteilt (S. 346).
