The effect of patulin on tissue cultures

Abstract

Es wurde die Wirkung von Patulin aufin vitro gezuchtete Bindegewebszellen untersucht. Patulin zeigt noch in der Konzentration von 10−6 einen sehr ausgesprochenen toxischen Effekt auf Gewebszellen. Nach dreitagiger Erwarmung der Patulinlosung (p H 7,2) im Thermostat auf 370° C wird die Toxizitat vermindert. Bei einer Konzentration von 5·10−5 sind noch fast normale mitotische Kurven zu beobachten. Pathologische Mitosefiguren zeigen aber, das noch Reste von toxischer Wirkung vorhanden sind.
