Die Prothorakaldruse der SchmetterlingsraupePapilio demoleus L. ist mit Sicherheit innerviert, wobei jede einzelne Drusenzelle von Nervenendigungen umsponnen ist. Der Befund spricht fur eine Aktivierung der Hautungsdruse durch Neurosekret, das durch Nerven zugefuhrt wird.
