Abstract

1. An den erwachsenen Honigbienen wurden fruherTriungulinus-Larven von 5Meloe-Arten gefunden, davon 3 in Europa. Der Verfasser berichtet uber einen sechstenTriungulinus, der in Ungarn vorkommt und hauptsachlich durch die „Stigmenfortsatze“ des ersten Hinterleibsringes charakterisiert werden kann. 2. Die Triungulinen desMeloe, variegatus saugen die Korperflussigkeit („Blut“) der erwachsenen Honigbienen. In die Bienen eingespritzter Farbstoff kann auch in den Triungulinen nachgewiesen werden. In den Darmen der sich von „Bienenblut“ ernahrenden Triungulinen wurden auch Pollenkorner gefunden. Die Ernahrung der Triungulinen mit Blutenstaub beginnt also nicht nach dem endgultigen Verlassen der Biene. Die Triungulinen haben die Eier der Honigbiene unberuhrt gelassen, und ohne Bienen starben sie bald. Auf frischen Bienen blieben sie aber bis 30 Tage am Leben. 3. Die Triungulinen desMeloe variegatus verwenden ihre Pygopodien 1. fur Nachschieben bzw. Festhalten und 2. fur Reinigung des Korpers.
