Abstract

Mit dem Ziel, die problembeladene Volkszahlung zu entlasten und zu aktualisieren sowie der gesamten Bundesverwaltung ein rationelles Mittel zur Beschaffung der erforderlichen Informationen uber die Lebensverhaltnisse der Bevolkerung zur Verfugung zu stellen, plant das Bundesamt fur Statistik die Einfuhrung von jahrlichen Haushaltserhebungen auf Stichprobenbasis. Der Mikrozensus soll zwei Programmteile enthalten, ein Grundprogramm mit demographischen und soziookoncmischen Variablen und ein themenzentriertes Spezialprogramm. Zwei Stichprobengrossen fur national resp. kantonal reprasentative Resultate sind vorgesehen. Es werden dem Befragungsthema entsprechend schriftliche und/oder mundliche Befragungsmethoden eingesetzt, ein besonderes Gewicht wird dem computerunterstutzten Telefoninterview gegeben.
