Die Festigkeitseigenschaften der Schneedecke und ihre Messung

Abstract

Eine Uebersicht wird gegeben uber verschiedene Methoden der Harte- und Festigkeitsmessung an Schnee. Neben alteren, bekannten Instrumenten werden auch neuere beschrieben. Eine Anregung fur eine rohe Harteskala wird gegeben, deren Anwendung keiner besonderer Hilfsmittel bedarf. Vergleichende Messungen an einem Schneeprofil zeigen, dass alle Methoden den groben Verlauf der Verbandsfestigkeit ubereinstimmend wiedergeben. Ueber eine genauere Untersuchung wird spater berichtet.
