On a cherche a determiner la presence d'un ARN bi-cat\'enaire lors de la r\'eplication du virus herp\'etique. La pr\'ecipitation de LiCl 2M, la filtration sur gel Sephadex, la chromatographie sur cellulose, la s\'edimentation en gradient de densit\'e et l'induction d'interf\'eron in vivo et in vitro semblent d\'emontrer qu'une telle structure n'est pas indispensable \`a la r\'eplication du virus herp\'etique.
