Nach der Wirkung auf die Uberlebenszeit von Transplantaten bei Mausen zu schliessen, besitzt Leucoagglutinin ausPhaseolus vulgaris extrahiert, eine nur schwache immunosuppressive Aktivitat. Sie ist nicht deutlich mit der lymphozytenstimulierenden oder agglutinierenden Aktivitat verknupft. Eine starke akute Toxizitat von Leukoagglutinin wurde festgestellt.
