Beim Eichhornchen,Saimiri sciureus wurde elektromyographisch gezeigt, dass die Nerven in der Region der Nackenwirbelsaule den Trapeziusmuskel mit innervieren. Der obere Anteil dieser uber den Trapezius verteilten Bewegungsinnervationen enthalt starkere Beteiligung durch die Nackenbewegungsinnervation.
