Abstract

The odorous and physiologically active substances of the secretions of Japanese stink bugs (Cydnidae) were investigated. The main components of the secretions ofM. japonensis andA. nigritus aren-tridecane andn-pentadecane together with 2-octenal and 2-decenal, while 2-hexenal is the main components in the secretion ofA. magna.
