The effect of different doses 5, 10, 15, 30, 40 and 50 KR of gamma irradiation on the infectivity ofSteinernema feltiae Filipjev nematode has been studied. It was found thatS. feltiae was inactivated by gamma irradiation. Motility of nematodes as well as the mortality and infestation intensity of the host decreased at the higher doses. Development of nematodes was inhibited at the highest dose. No reproduction of nematodes occurred with any of gamma irradiation doses.
