This paper analyzes the use of computer graphics images as an architectural assessment tool. The characteristics of such images as an architectural simulation tool are discussed and their reliability as an assessment tool is evaluated and compared with that of traditional hand-generated perspective drawings. A specimen application, architectural simulation of a city renewal plan, is presented.
