Abstract

1. Die kontraktionsauslosende und tachyphylaktische Wirkung des Klapperschlangen- und Bienengiftes am isolierten Meerschweinchendarm ist ein und derselben Substanz zuzuschreiben. 2. Mit Hilfe der tachyphylaktischen Reaktion des Schlangen- und Bienengiftes lassen sich am isolierten Meerschweinchendarm im groben Mengenunterschiede ihrer darmwirksamen Substanz erfassen. Mit Hilfe dieser Methode last sich zeigen, das durch Erhitzen wie durch Ultrafiltration die Darmwirksamkeit des Klapperschlangen- und Bienengiftes vermindert wird. Ebenso wird auch die neurotoxische Wirkung des Schlangengiftes abgeschwacht. 3. Die beiden darmwirksamen Substanzen des Bienengiftes werden durch Verwendung geeigneter biologischer Versuchsobjekte getrennt zur Darstellung gebracht. Mittels Ultrafiltration last sich die histaminahnliche von der anderen darmwirksamen Substanz trennen. 4. Das Klapperschlangengift oder Bienengift erzeugen am Darm eine Tachyphylaxie, die nicht nur gegen dasselbe, sondern auch gegen das andere Gift gerichtet ist. 5. Die Darmwirksamkeit des Schlangen- und Bienengiftes steht in keinem Zusammenhang mit ihrer neurotoxischen Wirkung. 6. Wie am Darm und Uterus wirkt das Schlangengift auch, am isolierten Warmblutergefaspraparat tachyphylaktisch, gleichgultig, ob es eine Dilatation oder eine Konstriktion der Gefase ausloste.
