The treatment of third ventricle tumors is discussed chiefly on the basis of case experience. The various tumors are considered according to their special characteristics and to their location as well; the anteriorly and posteriorly placed tumors of the third ventricle being considered in separate groups. Both the surgical removal and the conservative measures of treatment are described. The advantages of either conservative treatment or surgical removal are discussed in each case with a general resume of the results.
